Payson Park – Foxboro, MA

A friend of ours recently introduced us to an awesome playground in Foxboro. It seems like pretty new equipment and had some fun unique aspects including a rock wall you could sit on top, a spinning sphere, a shaky bridge, a standing spinner, and more!  The kids especially loved the seesaw that you could stand on top of to surf, the bulldozer and the musical bell tower. There were baby swings and big kid swings as well as basketball courts, baseball fields and soccer fields around. It was nice because it wasn’t too crowded and it wasn’t too big that you lose your kids.

My friend and I were able to sit at a table and chat and keep an eye on the kids at all times. Huge parking lot so no worrying about parking and a drive thru- dairy queen or Dunkin Donuts around the corner for when you’re all hot and tired afterwards!

Few things to note:

  • covered in wood chips so choose your shoes wisely
  • not much shade – only some picnic tables under a tree are in shade
  • no restrooms from what I saw but it’s a huge place so maybe down one of the paths near the baseball fields
  • lots of wide open fields to run

How to get there:
