Friendship Park – West Bridgewater, MA
The weather has been unseasonably nice for the Fall, so my son and I have been spending as much time outside as possible. These days, I like to either go somewhere nearby incase it gets too cold or windy, or somewhere close to an indoor facility should we need to warm up. That’s why our latest find is just so great!
Friendship Park was a really nicely kept up playground, all fenced in, with free parking. It’s just the right size to keep track of more than one kid and had a large beautiful tree in the middle for shade. The playground had some interesting play features which included a chain balance beam, some easy climbing structures, tire swings, spinning things to hold onto, and two giant slides that older kids might like. My son happened to love the shaky wooden bridge and a pretend car to drive.
After about an hour and a half of fun on the playground, we went to check out the old bell housed down a dirt path. From there, we decided to warm up a bit at stoytime at the library. The library is right next door, which makes it very convenient to both in one outing.
