My kids have a lot of hair. When my son was born, I wasn’t quite prepared for just how fast it all would grow. I managed to hold out until my son was about a year and half and pretty much looking like a girl before finally giving in to take him for his first real haircut. After seeing some friends’ kids with some awful dos and hearing the ridiculous cost, I decided to forego the craziness of Snipits and headed over to a good ol’ fashion barbershop.
There is an adorable red car for kids to sit in to get their haircut if they so choose. They also have a large array of toys the kids can hold and play with and an area for siblings to sit and play while waiting. All of the barbers/hairstylists are always so kind and accommodating. We have been going to the same woman since my son’s first haircut and she always does an amazing job; especially since my son is not always so patient and likes to shake his head and move around a lot. We have since graduated into sitting on my lap playing with a toy and he even allows them to use the buzzer tool on his neck now and spray his head with water.
They are some of the nicest, most patient people I have ever met. They truly take their time with my two year old and give a great cut. Our first haircut was even free, complete with a certificate with lock of hair and lollipop! My son now doesn’t mind getting his haircut because he knows there is a lollipop at the end and I like it because I have to take him at least every 4-6 weeks and it’s only 11 bucks! Now that’s a deal!
Few things to note:
- They are closed Sundays and Mondays
- There is a parking lot next to the building
