We are always looking for new places to dine with the kids in tow.  We decided to check out Jane n Joe’s on a Saturday night and see how it went.  We went around 5:30 pm and the place was packed with other families with young children like us.  The kids were presented with fun activity books and children’s menus to keep them busy while we waited.  Kids’ meals came with a free drink which is always a hit as well. We usually all stick with water but the occasional chocolate milk is a fun treat for the kids.  There was a casual vibe, extremely friendly waiters who were happy to clean up our messes and enough noise that when my kids screamed, it didn’t bother anyone.

To make things even better – the food was great! For the first time in a very long time, both kids sat quietly in their own seats eating and my husband and I were able to enjoy our meals as well.  I asked the waitress about any specials they might have and discovered the following:

• Mondays – 50 cent wings
• Wednesdays – $3.50 burgers all day
• They also seem to have appetizer specials often if you check the website

Lastly, because I love a good deal.  They have an MVP card where you can add up points to earn dollars off on your meals! For every 200 points, you get $10 off.  I also saw that they host fundraisers for different organizations and give back 20% of the bill.  We will definitely be hitting this place up again soon.
