Best.Place.Ever. Hilliard’s is a one stop drool shop for all ages. Walking in is like a trip to Hershey, PA where the entire town smells like chocolate. You get this whoof of deliciousness the moment you walk in the door. It’s a bit overwhelming at first, you don’t quite know where to look for. Do you go with chocolate clusters, fudge, truffles, bark, or ice cream. Usually I choose one thing for now and one thing to take home for another time.
The best part though is the Fall when they start making their caramel apples. Apples dipped in anything and everything you can imagine. I wait all year for caramel apple season! They also have specialty candies for each of the holidays which make great gifts!
If you can manage to tear yourself away from the chocolate section of the store and head over to the old fashioned ice cream parlor, you are in for a treat as well. The ice cream is homemade on the premises and so good! I particularly am obsessed with the Coffee Brownie Madness. They also have FroYo for the health conscious crew out there. Hilliard’s is a great place to take the kids when you want to do a little something special for them.

- Rumor has it the Canton location is closing in Nov but a Mansfield location is opening up soon.
