Braintree Highlands Community Playground – Braintree, MA

We’re always looking for new playgrounds and this one did not disappoint! We have good friends that live in Braintree who met us for an afternoon of fun and introduced us to this place.  This is probably one of the biggest playgrounds I have ever seen.  It had multiple climbing structures for all ages.  A substantial one for my 1.5 year old and an even bigger one for the 4 year old to explore.  It also had a lot of other neat structures like a pirate ship, spider’s web, animal ride ons, a car, and a bunch of other webbed climbing structures that I’m not even sure what you’d call.  It is clean, it looks fairly new and there is a ton of parking.

Both of my kids love climbing and slides so this place did not disappoint.  They especially loved checking out some of the more unique things that you don’t find everywhere.  As an added bonus, the ice cream truck showed up twice while we were there.

Few things to note:

• there are no bathrooms or stores to use their bathrooms anywhere nearby
• there is not a lot of shade so come prepared
