It’s baseball season and that can only mean one thing! Kid’s eat free at the 99! Be sure to keep your eye on the Red Sox score each night because if the Red Sox win, kids eat free the next night with every adult entree purchased. This is great news for us since our toddler son eats more than the three of us combined.

We love the 99 for a few other reasons as well. First is Call Ahead Seating! Going out to dinner is a tricky negotiation around naptimes, tantrums, hunger and tiredness. We usually venture out around 5:00 pm to join the seniors as early birds but are constantly shocked to find packed restaurants at this time. Call ahead seating is a lifesaver for our two little ones with no patience.

Our second favorite thing about the 99 is the free popcorn. Im pretty sure we don’t even need to order a kids meal by the time my daughter is done with her 4th bowl of salty buttery deliciousness. The kids menus also come as a neat booklet with games, puzzles and coloring inside. Each kid gets their own set of new crisp crayons to break and drop all over the floor, along with the popcorn that already is all over the floor.

We manage to make it through the meal and just before the little ones are about to break free out of their booth, in comes our friendly waitress with free ice cream sandwiches. That’s right folks – each kids meal comes with a free ice cream sandwich at the end. For our son who had some dairy issues for awhile, this meant an ice cream sandwich for my husband and I to share. Double score!
