There is nothing I love more than reallly good food. And even better? When you don’t have to drive into Boston to get it. Byblos is one of those places where you can have a consistently delicious and amazing meal every time you go. It is traditional Lebanese food, but quite honestly, the best I have ever had. Sometimes I like to just go and eat appetizers for dinner. Between their hummus, baba ghannouj, cheese rolls, fatoush salad, grape leaves, and quite honestly some of the best Falafel I have ever had – you can’t go wrong. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Byblos is a bit of a fancier place so my husband and I like to go without the kids for date night. We’ve brought the kids before very early in the evening and it has been fine. We threw my grandmother’s 90th birthday party there and they catered my bridal shower and mother in law’s 60th birthday. It is food that everyone loves! We have even seen a wedding there. Whether eating it in house or taking containers to go.
More recently, I had a friend visiting from Manhattan who wanted to go out and live a little. I was feeling a bit tired from chasing the kids around all week and didn’t feel like trekking into Boston, so took her on Friday night to Byblos and treated her to live Arabic music, belly dancing and napkin swinging. It was a fun night out!
Few things to note:
- Its very vegetarian friendly and allergy friendly
- Belly dancing is only on Friday nights but food is always good
