Indoor, Outdoor, Museum
The children’s museum is a great place to visit in the dead of winter when your kids are getting cabin fever and you all just HAVE to GET out. With three floors of imaginative fun, kids can pretend they are on an old fishing boat, in a spaceship, on a firetruck and more. My daughter especially loves the golf ball run in which you have to climb up a large staircase to deposit your ball into the large contraption that then takes it this way and that to the bottom. There is also a realistic looking doctor’s office complete with newborn babies to check up and a dinosaur room for all the dino lovers out there.
When we’re all tired of playing, we sit down at the arts and crafts table to make something fun for the season. The museum hosts great birthday parties, offers music classes and has non stop events, bringing in clowns, magicians and more. They also have a great outdoor space called the wild spot to get some fresh air.
